About Camp Snyder

Camp William B. Snyder is located in the rural crescent of Prince William County Virginia, 40 miles from the nation's capital and 30 miles from one of the largest Vietnamese communities in the US (Eden Center in Falls Church, VA). The campground encompasses 325-acres including a managed wetland and is a premier camping location within the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

The facilities at Camp Snyder have been open to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and community organizations since 2006. Camp Snyder has many exciting amenities including an archery and BB gun range, a fishing pond with boating areas, a COPE challenge course, and a very spacious dining hall with state of the art commercial grade kitchen equipment. We hope to use and incorporate all of these exciting activities into the TTXI jamboree’s program.
