6/28-7/4/2018 Thẳng Tiến 11 (7 days):

• Thu 6/28:         Check-in; SPL & Leaders Meetings (mid-day); Rehearse for Opening Ceremony; Night Market (Chợ Đêm)

• Fri 6/29:           Opening Ceremony; Cultural Day; Opening Campfire

• Sat 6/30:          Subcamp Activities (Ấu, Thiếu, Thanh, Tráng, Trưởng Niên, Gia Đình)

• Sun 7/1:           Subcamp Activities (Ấu, Thiếu, Thanh, Tráng, Trưởng Niên, Gia Đình)

• Mon 7/2:          Subcamp Activities (Ấu, Thiếu, Thanh, Tráng, Trưởng Niên, Gia Đình); Night Market (Chợ Đêm)

• Tue 7/3:           Fellowship Day (Color Run, Mentoring Program, Set-the-Record, Thẳng Tiến Academy, STEM, Rocket, Scuba, Sports, Patches Trading, BBQ Cookout); Closing Campfire

• Wed 7/4:          Closing Ceremony (early morning)

Wed 7/4 – Sat 7/7:   Suggested After-Camp Tour (will refer campers to work directly with local travel companies) — DC’s July 4th fireworks and nearby attractions – Manassas National Battlefield Park (Bull Run), Mount Vernon, Jamestown, Williamsburg

CAMPFIRE PROGRAM

• Camp-wide Campfire program will occur on two days:

  • Friday 6/29:     Opening Campfire

  • Tuesday 7/3:    Closing Campfire

• Each Subcamp will hold its own campfire on Subcamp days

• Best performance of each Subcamp to perform at the Closing Campfire
  • Ấu, Thiếu, Thanh, Tráng
  • Trưởng Niên & Gia Đình share one performance slot
• Miền & Chi Nhánh’s Campfire program
  • Scheduled on either Opening Campfire or Closing Campfire
  • 1 performance to be presented by each Chi Nhánh
  • Larger contingents - Miền Tây Bắc, Tây Nam, Trung may present up to 2 performances
  • Each performance may be no more than 7 minutes
  • No more than 3 minutes transition between performances

NIGHT MARKET (CHỢ ĐÊM)

• Liên Đoàn’s interested in becoming vendors for Chợ Đêm should contact Tr. Trần Minh Tâm at [email protected]

• Tentatively scheduled for the evenings of Check-in Day, June 28 and on Monday, July 2

• Vendors may sell food or run game booth
