Swimming pool will be opened during specific hours for scouts only, not for adults.
The pool will be divided into 3 sections: Non-swimmer, Beginner, and Swimmer. Pool users must take a swimming test to determine your swimming level.
- Users who can swim 100 meters non-stop will be classified as Swimmers.
- Users who cannot swim 100 meters but can swim 25-ft non-stop will be Beginners.
- Users who cannot swim 25-ft non stop will be classified as Non-swimmer.
Non-swimmer can go only to the Non-swimmer section.
Beginners can go to either Beginner or Non-Swimmer sections.
Swimmers can go to any of the 3 pool sections.
Scouts who don't want to take the swim test but want to use the pool must go to the swim test session to get a swim tag in order to use the pool. Those scouts will be categorized as Non-swimmer.
Pool users who come with valid BSA unit swim classification record within the last year, either Option B or C, can have your swim test waived. If record is not available, pool users will have to take a swim test at camp to determine your swimming level.
